Our Story

We are the new future of mental wellbeing, expertly designed to help clients take control of their lives and find the joy they are entitled to through proactive wellness solutions. Watch what we mean!

“We help people become the heroes of their own mental health.”

Born from the mental health struggles of the founder and the need for a change, we launched in 2019. We are obsessed with creating a community of people who can stop wearing the masks of life and really get real about how to manage their mental health and wellbeing in life and work.

Each workshop, event, and retreat is carefully created to combine elements of life discovery, personal and professional self-development, and mental wellness, to produce an unforgettable experience that will result in positive life changes that are easy to implement and can help prevent deeper issues. Participants will walk away feeling more prepared to face life than ever before!

Sabriya Charles

Sabriya graduated from North Carolina State University with dual Bachelor’s degrees in Animal Science and Social Work. She has traveled to 10+ countries and counting. She is certified in Life Purpose Coaching, CBT Coaching, Mindfulness Coaching, and in many more areas. Sabriya created Project Passport with the dream of providing a transformational retreat experience that focused more on supporting individuals and their mental well-being rather than escaping their problems.

As a Master Life Coach and Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate, Sabriya has innovated a unique style of serving clients based in experimentation and interactive wellness. She is certified in areas like Positive Psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Techniques Coaching, Neurolinguistics Practitioner-style Coaching. Sabriya has a well-rounded background from working with adults who have mental disabilities to real estate sales, marketing, higher education, and various other fields.

As an award-winning founder of innovative, proactive wellness services, her desire is to help individuals reach their greater capacities and to push them to pursue their goals and aspirations through unique virtual and travel retreats. Read her full story here!

Razeen Shepard

Program Content Designer & Developer

Razeen graduated from Campbell University with a BS in Pharmaceutical Sciences. It was during her time there that she fell in love with Asian culture and started to seriously explore the world around her. To this day she has explored over 7 countries including Mexico, Jamaica, & South Korea. She has a goal of traveling to 30 countries by the time she is 30 years old. She has found that traveling feeds her soul and is vital to recharging her batteries. She hopes to spark wanderlust in others and to equip travelers with the tools to travel confidently. In addition, she is leading and designing our team building and cultural competency experiences virtually!


Thea Butler - Retreat Leader

Thea is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a BA in International Studies and a concentration in Global Sustainability and Development. In Spring 2018, she embarked on a journey around the world with her study abroad program, "Semester at Sea." Some of her favorite port stops were Mauritius, Myanmar, and Japan. She was able to travel all across Europe independently after her study abroad. Thea is a travel fiend, with her countries adventured at 22 and counting! She’s learned from her travels that it’s more important to consider yourself a traveler, not a tourist, and immerse yourself in all different cultures. Her travels taught her to push past imposter syndrome and embrace the moment. Her passions include art, floral design, animals, and connecting to nature.

Dania Chambers

Movement Leader - Cultural Dance, Ergonomics Expert

Dania has a B.A. in Biology and is a practicing Physical Therapist Assistant of 17 ½ years specializing in out-patient, long/short term care, pediatric, Bariatric, Brain, and spinal cord intervention. As a classical violinist, she has been playing since she was 3 years young. She specializes in neurology, wound care, and other somatic treatment modalities. Dania is passionate about different cultures and has traveled to at least 16 different countries including Australia, Japan, Fiji, Spain and France. She is also a trained, professional dancer and is currently teaching Foundations of Kizomba, Konpa and Intro to Passada in the Triangle. Dania strongly believes in art and homeopathic healing and intertwining the two for intervention on many levels; and she is also a spiritual woman and is deeply rooted in Caribbean culture. She stays active with ongoing Taekwondo knowledge and techniques while currently a yellow striped belt.


Salimah Ismail

Retreat Program Analyst + Podcast Lead + Program Facilitator/Retreat Leader

Salimah is an audacious achiever with over a decade of experience in Culture and Operations. Born and raised in Toronto, she received a Masters in Statistics from the University of Victoria where she published a paper that modeled the spectral analysis of resting state brain activity. After that, she earned a Masters in Science in Television Production from Boston University, while interning for the award-winning talk show The Soup on E! in Los Angeles.

Currently, Salimah is living her best life as a Podcaster, Analyst and Retreat Leader for Project Passport as well as providing operations support to startups in a variety of industries. She is loving the hustle and growth that comes with working with high-integrity organizations that are dedicated to remaining true to their mission. She wields her exceptional leadership, communication and organizational skills to improve company culture and to meaningfully engage diverse teams in finding joy in work. Her key to problem solving and creating efficiency is by identifying blind spots and addressing the root cause instead of only managing the symptoms.

Salimah’s superpower is time management and she uses it to balance a very productive work life with her hobbies that includes travel (20+ countries and counting!), lifting weights, running races that promise medals, listening and producing podcasts, reading challenges, marathoning comedy tv shows, maintaining platinum status at her local movie theater, frequenting the local arcade and amusement parks, bothering her cat, and go on adventures with her friends and her husband Seth.

Stephan van de Ven

Program Facilitator/Retreat Leader + Personal Wellness Coach

Stephan graduated from the Université de Bourgogne, France with a Master's Degree in Intercultural Management. He has been providing training sessions for over 5 years, is a Certified Life Coach and an UN-Habitat endorsed Online Dialogue Facilitator. He has a heart for young people and has volunteered for many years in various youth NGOs. In 2015, he embarked on an adventure and started traveling around Europe. Today he works from home, where that may be. Stephan loves dancing, from ballroom to latin, lindy-hop to tango, and practices the Brazilian martial arts of Capoeira. He is passionate about supporting you in reflecting on work and life, setting your direction, and taking the next step(s) with you!


Tekeysha Mack

Program Facilitator/Retreat Leader + Content Designer

Tekeysha graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Master of Social Work degree. Tekeysha is also a Licensed Master Social Worker in the State of Arizona. She specializes in various therapeutic tools and a host of Holistic Approaches to nurture healthier qualities of life. Tekeysha is also trained in several mediums of art which is used to help explore one's unique individuality. She utilizes art to increase effective communication through creativity. Tekeysha enjoys working with, learning from, all ages and cultures. During her free time, she travels, preferably surrounded by large bodies of water. Seeking out beautiful art murals and experiencing the next tasty seafood restaurant is always a part of her excursions! Her primary goal is to learn, model, and continue to assist in creating safe spaces for all woman to share their stories of healing. One of Tekeysha's purposes is to empower as many people as possible to use effective, creative coping skills, and to create self-care boundaries to decrease symptoms of anxiety and depression.


Keyana Guion

Program Facilitator/Retreat Leader

Keyana is a retired Purple Heart veteran whose passion was IGNITED to instruct yoga after finding it to be her consistent safe space during her deployment. Those tools also aided in her physical recovery post-injury. It allowed her to experience freedom and growth on the mat firsthand, which solidified her commitment to supporting others on their journeys of healing.

After obtaining her initial yoga certification, she further decided to complete additional Masters training. Keyana’s desire to be more effective in supporting her local community inspired her to move on to obtain her certification as a Trauma Support Specialist and specialized certifications in Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, Yogalates, Children’s Yoga, Fertility Yoga.

Keyana supports individuals struggling with PTSD and those healing from various forms of combat, vicarious, and/or sexual trauma. It is her personal mission to provide transformational tools to those that need it most. This is Keyana’s way of supporting individuals in their ability to continue to be the GREATEST (and holistically healthiest) versions of themselves!


Emily Ragland

Program Facilitator/Retreat Leader

Emily is a career long family and child advocate focused on educating support systems around the impact of trauma while using resources and relationship building to fight the potential challenges related to surviving trauma. Emily has worked in varying settings with the goal to be and stay focused on family success through education, coaching and advocacy. Emily is a graduate of North Carolina State University’s Youth, Family and Community Science program. In addition to her Masters of Research degree, Emily earned a graduate certificate in family life education and coaching. Emily is excited to use her education and expertise growing the conversation of trauma so that nobody is ever asked what is wrong with them, but instead is asked what happened to them. In that, hearing stories of survival while building systems of support for those looking to build a future of success and pride.

She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in philosophy with a minor in African- American studies at Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina. Emily has dedicated her work service thus far to children and young adults who struggle with learning, social, emotional and behavioral challenges. Over the last three years Emily worked closely with communities as they address Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) while building systems of care that address the whole child and family. Emily is passionate about supporting youth and families through an ever present trauma- informed lens. She continues to research the impact of trauma on communities typically marginalized by the systems to engage professionals and parents as we work together to break cycles and heal hearts. Her favorite quote is, “be the change that you want to see in the world” by Ghandi.


Bri Ryerson

Wellness Operations Assistant

Bri graduated from North Carolina State University with a major in Biological Sciences, a concentration in Human Biology, and minors in Microbiology and Psychology. During her time at NC State, she was involved in the University Honors Program as well as the Biological Sciences Honors Program.

Bri currently works within the Nutraceutical industry and supports the increase in accessibility for holistic practices and medicine. Mental health, specifically destigmatizing mental health, has been a huge passion for her since her middle and high school years.

Her passions outside of work include traveling, cooking, health and wellness, yoga, and exercising. She strongly believes that a healthy work-life balance and keeping in tune with yourself and your passions is the key to happiness and success!
