This blog is from the heart. I know what it is like the be that girl who felt like she had to have it all, or else she was nothing and no one.

Girl, you may not have it all together.

Girl, you may not be where you want to be yet.

Girl, you may not look in the mirror and smile.

Girl, you may feel afraid to be you.

Girl, you may feel lost and confused.

Girl, you may believe you are living a lie.

But girl, let me tell you something. I believe in you. You have everything you need inside. See, you do not have to have it all figured out. You do not have to know the way. You do not have to be perfect. What matters is that you are confident in the unknown. What matters is that you take the steps forward.

Girl, you have to simply be confident no matter what is thrown your way! There is no other secret or formula really. Being exactly who you are is the key to unlock it all.

So when they say, “Girl, what are you doing? You have no idea what is going on!”

You say, “This GIRL is not afraid to be herself. This GIRL certainly does not have it all figured out. This GIRL is not where she wants to be…yet. This GIRL can feel lost and confused at times. This GIRL is living her truth. This GIRL is beginning to smile in the mirror. This GIRL is making moves and strides despite her fears.”

No one has this thing called life figured out. Most people want to pretend that they do because they fear others. Most people want to uphold a vision of who they are that does not exist. Don’t let them jade you, girl.

You have absolutely got this!
